Chemical Composition
422 Stainless Steel
PPS offers 422 stainless steel which is widely used for conditions where temperatures are raised up to 1200°F. The 422 stainless steel can be heat-treated to different high strength levels, depending on the section, form, and application involved. The 422 stainless steel also has good resistance to scaling and oxidation and excellent creep-rupture properties. It contains a balanced composition that consist of a microstructure that is essentially fully tempered martensite after heat treatment.

Chemical Composition
410 Stainless Steel
Our 410 stainless steel can be hardened, straight-chromium stainless steels which combine superior wear resistance of high carbon alloys with the excellent corrosion resistance of chromium stainless steels. It is a martensitic stainless steel that is air or oil hardened and responds perfectly to hardening and tempering operations. In addition 410 stainless steel offers excellent combinations of strength and firmness depending on degree of heat treatments. In the annealed condition, it is a ready choice for forming and cold heading.
