Raw Materials: Nickel Alloys

Nickel Alloys

Nickel Alloy INCONEL 718 Applications studs and screws

Chemical Composition

Nickel Alloy INCONEL 718 Chemical Composition

Nickel Alloy INCONEL 718

Alloy 718, also known as Inconel 718 is a precipitation-hardening nickel-chromium alloy containing significant amounts of iron, columbium, and molybdenum, along with lesser amounts of aluminum and titanium. Alloy 718 maintains high strength, good ductility and is suitable for temperatures up to around 1300 F. This alloy has relatively good weldability, formability, and excellent cryogenic properties compared to other precipitation hardening nickel alloys. The sluggish precipitation hardening response of this alloy allows it to be readily welded without hardening or cracking.

Chemical Composition

Nickel Alloy INCONEL X750 Chemical Composition

Nickel Alloy INCONEL X750

Inconel X-750 is a precipitation hardenable nickel-chromium alloy used for its corrosion and oxidation resistance and high strength at temperatures up to 1300°F. Although much of the effect of precipitation hardening is lost with increasing temperature over 1300°F, Inco X-750 is highly resistant to chemical corrosion and oxidation and has high stress-rupture strength and low creep rates under high stresses at temperatures up to 1500°F (816°C) after suitable heat treatment.

Nickel Alloy R26 Chemical Composition

Nickel Alloy R26

Refractaloy 26, or pyromet 26 is useful in fasteners and sealing pars such as gas turbine applications such as rings, blades, and combustion chamber parts. Refractaloy 26 is Fe – Ni – Co – Cr based high temperature resistant, corrosion resistant alloy. It has excellent relaxation and creep resistance, and good plasticity under medium tem-perature, product features are available in 540 °C ~ 570 °C under the condition of steam and can meet the 30 ~ 600000 kw steam turbine fasteners.
